To help you embrace life with positivity and intention, I created an 18-day Glow-Up that’s all about introducing small, impactful habits into your life.
Each day focuses on a new habit that will help you feel energised, balanced, and ready to shine.
Why 18 Days? You get to repeat it every month. Sometimes you may have a busy day and miss/ skip a task, and that's okay. Just carry on and start working through the 18 prompts the next month, anew.
Day 1: Hydrate Like You Mean It 💧
Start drinking plenty of water. To determine how much you need, consider your weight, height, and activity level. Proper hydration does wonders for your skin, energy levels, and overall well-being. Make it a goal to hit your daily target and keep that water bottle close!
Day 2: Walk It Out 🚶♀️
Incorporate 30 minutes of walking each day—either as a single session in nature or two 15-minute walks. Walking is an easy and effective way to boost your energy, lift your mood, and lay the foundation for other exercise routines. Plus, it’s a wonderful way to reconnect with yourself.
Day 3: Breathe, Meditate, or Just Be 🌱
Take a few minutes each day to slow down. Breathe deeply, meditate, pray, or simply sit in silence. This time is all about calming your mind and centering yourself. Even a few minutes of stillness can make a big difference in managing stress and promoting inner peace.
Day 4: Start Journaling ✍️
Writing down your thoughts is an incredible way to process emotions and cultivate gratitude. Start by spending 5 to 10 minutes on this each day. You can also use prompts like “What brings me joy?” or “How do I want to feel this week?” Let journaling become a safe space for reflection.
Day 5: Three Healthy Breakfasts 🥑
Choose three go-to healthy breakfasts and keep their ingredients stocked at home. This way, you start each day with fuel that energises you. A balanced breakfast sets the tone for the rest of your day and keeps you on track with your wellness goals.
Day 6: Pick Up a Book 📖
Invest in a good book and start reading. Reading is food for the mind and offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Day 7: Prioritize Sleep 😴
Work on establishing a consistent sleep schedule. Aim for around 7-8 hours of quality rest per night. Create a calming wind-down routine to signal to your body that it’s time to rest. Sleep is essential for your physical health, mental clarity, and emotional resilience.
Day 8: Create a Vision Board ✨
Start a vision board to bring your dreams to life! You can use Pinterest, make a digital board on Canva, or go old-school with printed images. Place it somewhere you’ll see daily to keep you inspired and focused on your goals.
Day 9: Positive Affirmations 🗣️
Write down a few affirmations that resonate with you and speak them into existence every day. “I am capable,” “I am enough,” “I am becoming the best version of myself.” Affirmations can transform your mindset and help you cultivate a positive, self-loving attitude.
Day 10: Organize Your Wardrobe 👗

Day 11: Digital Detox Day 📵
Challenge yourself to go an entire day without social media. Use this time to connect with yourself, your loved ones, or even nature. I started with one day per month and now enjoy a digital detox every Sunday. You’d be surprised at the clarity and peace this brings.
Day 12: Try Dry Brushing 🧖♀️
Add dry brushing to your routine for a wellness boost. This practice exfoliates your skin, stimulates circulation, and can even help reduce the appearance of cellulite. Plus, it’s a small act of self-care that feels luxurious and indulgent.
Day 13: Ditch Fast Food 🍟
Say goodbye to fast food and opt for healthier, home-prepared meals. While dining out occasionally is fine, try to avoid quick, greasy meals. Eating whole, nutritious foods is a wonderful way to show your body love and respect.
Day 14: Stretch It Out 🧘♀️
Start incorporating stretching into your daily routine. Not only does it improve flexibility, but it also releases tension and keeps your body feeling agile. A simple 10-minute stretching session each day can make a world of difference in how you feel.
Day 15: Daily Gratitude 🌸
List three specific things you’re grateful for each day. It could be anything from a warm shower to a kind gesture from a friend. Practicing gratitude consistently shifts your focus to the positive and reminds you of the abundance in your life.
Day 16: Plan Three Healthy Lunches 🥗
Just like breakfast, decide on three healthy lunches and make sure you have all the ingredients on hand. Preparing meals that nourish you makes it easier to avoid unhealthy options and keeps you feeling energized throughout the day.
Day 17: Give Flowers to Someone 💐
Brighten someone’s day with flowers. Giving is a beautiful act that brings joy to others and also has profound benefits for your own well-being. You can make this a monthly ritual to spread happiness and remind loved ones that you care.
Day 18: Photograph Your Go-To Outfits 📸
Put together three go-to outfits for the season, photograph them, and keep the images handy. This little hack makes it easy to get dressed when you’re short on time and ensures you always feel put-together and stylish.
